Hampshire College Varsity Sports

Hampshire is not a member of the NCAA or other formal league. Yet, Hampshire currently has teams which compete with other colleges:

• men's and women's basketball,

• fencing,

• men's and women's soccer,

• coed Ultimate Frisbee.

Additionally, Hampshire has an Outdoors Program and Recreational Athletics (OPRA) which supports outdoor pursuits such as:

• rock climbing,

• expeditioning,

• kayaking,

• courses in yoga,

• courses in martial arts.

OPRA also sponsors various trips on weekends and during January Term.
