The Evergreen State Majors
|
At Evergreen, students enroll in a single, comprehensive "program" rather than a series of separate courses. You'll explore many aspects of a theme or topic through different but related academic subjects. By tackling topics in an interdisciplinary way, you'll learn not only about a broad range of subjects and issues, but you'll become a critical thinker and a skilled communicator.
It's because we create a fresh, topical and engaging curriculum every year. At Evergreen, you could find yourself studying across several academic disciplines--all at once--and all in the same class. Imagine exploring psychology, environmental studies, math, history and economics and how they all inter-relate. This amazingly rich intellectual journey would be led by a team of professors not just one instructor. Current areas of study include the following: |
